Job Description

Procurement Officer-  4 nos

Job Specification:

  • Must have completed Bachelor's degree from the recognized university with excellent grades.
  • Must have 3-4 years of experience in the related field (Preferable in Building/Housing Construction Company)
  • Demonstrable experience working in a procurement/purchasing role
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a busy workload, meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • An understanding of best practice procurement practice

Job Description:

  • Maintain and implement construction procurement process for each project
  • Negotiate pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations
  • Facilitate the supervisor in develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification
  • Assist in ensuring awareness and company compliance to all building codes and local construction guidelines
  • Establish procurement strategies for acquisition, receiving and tracking of project materials with management that optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery criteria
