The Accelerating Pubic and Private Investment in Infrastructure Component (APPIIC) of the UKAID funded Accelerating Investment in Infrastructure in Nepal (AIIN) programme is managed by IMC Worldwide. The UK Government's Department for International Development through APPIIC supports consultants who support the Office of the Investment Board of Nepal (IBN) in investment promotion, project development and the implementation of private and pubic infrastructure projects. APPIIC would like to invite applications from candidates for the following position to wil be based in Office of the Investment Board of Nepal (OIBN).

Location    : Kathmandu
Estimated inputs : 6 Days, 40 hours per week.

Position    : Principal Manager - Project Development and Delivery Unit - PPPs
Line Manager : APPIIC Private Sector Lead. with day to day management by IBN CEO

Role:

The Principle Manager- Project Development and Delivery Unit will be responsible for the effective management of the Project Development and Delivery Unit team and its portfolio of projects, moving them through the project stages towards operation.

Qualification and Experience:

• Required: Relevant first degree in engineering, economics, law, or finance;
• Required: Postgraduate degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering, Law, and economics;
• Required: experience in managing PPP procurement processes or post-procurement processes for at least one large project in any relevant sector: i.e. transport, energy, tourism, water and sanitation;
• At least 10 years' experience in the field of international development, or infrastructure development, infrastructure financing, investment promotion;
• Experience of managing mid-sized teams and individuals essential.
