Job Description

 Key responsibilities:
  1. Implement NTP and NATA’s Monitoring and Evaluation strategy and guidelines.
  2. Prepare the Performance frameworks and M&E plan.
  3. Operationalize the NATA program Monitoring & Evaluation system including the design and maintenance of data storage; analysis and interpretation; reporting and dissemination of results to the concerned.
  4. Lead in the NATA role of M&E system and ensure quality data collection and compilation from the district branches (and/or relevant implementing partners) at the national level.
  5. Organize periodical review and evaluation of the organization.
  6. Liaise with NTP, District (Public) Health Offices, partner organization and other concerned and maintain regular working contact with branch offices and relevant implementing partners.
  7. Make supervision visits to program sites. Develop a regular review process with field sites to evaluate the utilization and impact of ongoing monitoring tools in order to measure improvements in program quality, giving feedback to field sites.
  8. Prepare program performance reports and submit to the concerned.
  9. Assist in the development of systems and data collection tools to capture data on TB indicators in the performance framework.
  10. Identify and formulate lessons learned and document best practices from evaluations and studies to be integrated into program reports.
  11. Any other tasks as may be assigned as per the need of the organization, to support the overall Management, Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation of the implementation of the Program.
         Qualification:
  1. Masters Degree in Public Health.
  2. Professional experience in program planning implementation monitoring evaluation & reporting for at least 2 years.
  3.  Similar experience in TB related project will be an asset.
         Skills and Competencies:
  1. Fluency in written and spoken Nepali and English Language.
  2. IT literate (MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point Presentations).
  3. Good Interpersonal Skill.
  4. Ability to work under pressure.

Nepal Anti-Tuberculosis Association (NATA) is a non-governmental, non-profit making voluntary organization established in 1953 with a view to raising public awareness about tuberculosis (TB) and adopting preventive, promative and curative measures towards the control of the diseases. It is the first organization of the kind engaged in tuberculosis sector.NATA has been working together with Government of Nepal (GoN) in implementing tuberculosis project since 1965.
