Job Description

Human Resource (HR) AND MARKETING MANAGER (ToR)
 
This is a long term and mid level position based in Kathmandu Office of S.W. Nepal Pvt. Ltd (Scott Wilson Nepal) /Deego Pvt Ltd in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. We are a Nepali consultancy firm working for more than 12 years in the development sector (www.scottwilsonnepal.com.np). 
 
Qualifications and experience:
  1. Minimum Bachelors degree in Management or Bachelor in Development Studies or any other relevant field.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of management or administration 
  3. experience, preferably in a development consultancy sector. 
 
Personal Abilities : 
 
  1. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and analytical skills. 
  2. Strong organization, planning and presentation skills 
  3. Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Package.  . .
  4. Strong IT and other database application knowledge (eg. SPSS, MS Access ect) will be an added advantage. 
  5. Able to apply analytical and innovative tools successfully to produce creative and valuable solutions. 
  6. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse team and in fast paced environment.
 
A. Administration and project management role and responsibility
 
  1. Management of day to day office administration. 
  2. Coordinate overall logistic requirement in Kathmandu as well as at field level.
  3. Manages expert database (eg. CV database, information database).
  4. Maintain past and current records of HR by preparing appropriate filing and retrieval system
  5. Organize meetings, workshops, office events including venues, facilities, document preparation,catering and security clearances. 
  6. Monitor personnel files for national and international consultants, following up on contract expiry and extension dates, recording travel and travel entitlements, checking on completion of TORs and payments. 
  7. Support in recruiting, selecting, orienting, assigning jobs to staff members.
  8. Prepare HR related policies and guidelines (eg. Staff recruitment & retention policy) 
  9. Manage all project related documentation (including photos) and information backup at central level
  10. Support in procurement of goods/services as necessary. 
 
B. Marketing support 
 
  1. Identify, develop, and evaluate SW Nepal's marketing strategy and plans
  2. Regular tracking of the donor/client's portals and national daily for new projects of interest and update CEO or project manager accordingly. 
  3. Prepare project technical and financial proposals. Identify expert team members for projects. 
  4. CV selection and management for the required team depending upon the variety of pipeline projects of the company. 
  5. Regularly update/develop marketing materials and experts’ CV database and manages all marketing related activities. 
  6. SW Nepal website regular update and content management. 
  7. Document project based information/ projects sheets etc.
