Ensuring that all accounting transaction are properly recorded and all relevant policies and procedures are properly followed and kept up to date.
Preparing the monthly and fortnightly payment schedule of creditors
Follow up the Accounts Receivable reports on a daily basis and ensure timely payment as per credit authorized.
Keeping Track of Food and Beverage Consumption eg. Staff canteen, complimentary, entertainment and Inventory of Kitchen and Bar.
Assist the Finance Manager with systems administration, inventories, monthly closing.
Assist Finance Manager with completing the year-end audit process.
Reconciliation of debtor and creditor accounts, Bank statements
Maintain files of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, etc.
Ensure payment of TDS, VAT, Tax and Government Fees on timely basis to avoid late fees and interest.
Ensure Electronics TDS file return, VAT file return on timely basis
Experience with hotel accounting software
Able to collaborate with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
