Job Description

Engineer- 1  :Field based
Engineer will be responsible for overall construction project work of the organization. The position holder will be closely working with Director. This position is also responsible for survey, design & estimate of water project and building construction.
Reports to:Director

Key requirements

• Completed sub-engineer course from recognized institution with at least 3 year working experience or BE with 1 year experience.
• Willing to stay in field area.
• Self-motivated and strong computer skills.
• Having good presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design, implementation/construction, follow up, quality control and evaluation of infrastructure construction in communities.
• Coordination with District line agencies in the district as well as in the center level.
• Responsible for need assessment, feasibility studies, individual interviews of community members, focus group discussion and site visit.
• Responsible for construction of sanitation facilities, drinking water, shelter and school building as per the prior need of communities.
• Other duties assigned by Director.
