We are seeking a skilled and committed Electrical Engineer or Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the electrical aspects of generator systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role involves both field and workshop-based work, requiring a proactive and safety-conscious individual.

Job Specification

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission generators, focusing on electrical connections and control systems.
Perform routine electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on generator systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, control panel issues, and wiring problems to ensure minimal downtime.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, service reports, and fault logs.
Provide on-site electrical support for generator installations, commissioning, and servicing.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of electrical tools and equipment.
Coordinate with mechanical teams for integrated maintenance and with the technical team for inventory and spare parts.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or B.E. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with the electrical systems of generators (installation, maintenance, or service).
Good knowledge of generator control panels, AVR systems, and power distribution.
Ability to work independently on electrical diagnostics and repairs.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
Basic computer literacy for report writing and record maintenance.
Valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with generator brands such as Kirloskar, Cummins, Mahindra, etc.
Understanding of synchronization panels, load testing, and battery systems.
Ability to handle emergency electrical breakdowns and perform quick diagnostics.
Basic understanding of generator-mechanical components is an added advantage.
