SLBS received operating license from central bank of Nepal as (Nepal Rastra Bank) “D” class financial institution on the date of 2070-03-06 (20th june 2013) to operate under the Bank and Financial Institution Act 2006. It started formal microfinance operation from 2070-04-01 (16 July, 2013) on its first branch office located in Putalibazar 1 sysngja . SLBS having corporate office in western region of Nepal located putalibazar 1 syangja and authorized working areas are Syangja, Manang, Mustang, Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi, Lanjung, Rolpa, Gulmi & Pauthan districts which are situated in hilly & mountain area is getting introduced as one of reliable and trustworthy financial institution among people of Nepal.
