1. Duties
Duties at the Consular Section of the Embassy include:
(1) Work at the consular counter (including telephone and email correspondence) passports, visa, family register, citizenship affairs, certification affairs, assisting Japanese nationals, overseas elections etc.
(2) preparation of surveys and documents related to the consular affairs
(3) other tasks required by the Embassy
Qualifications:
(1) Bachelor’s degree in any field from a university or from any other forms of publicly-recognized educational institutions.
(2) General knowledge for using computer softwares ( WindowsOS, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, etc.).
(3) Business-level written and spoken English, Nepali and Japanese (level N2 or N3 of Japanese Language Proficiency Test or equal skills), and necessary Japanese and English skills for communicating at the service counter.
(4) Working experience in a multicultural environment.
