Job Description

Position Title: Theme Coordinator-1 Female (Gender and Social Inclusion, Dolpa Based )

Minimum Requirement and competencies

  • Bachelor Degree in Gender and/or Rural Development, Sociology, Anthropology & Social Work with 3 years of professional working experience relevant field
  • Having knowledge and skill of participatory planning, implementation, monitoring, program management and building capacity of local organizations/CBOs
  • Good understanding on the Sues of women and adivasi/Aanajati rights.
  • Good an skill to interpret local socio-cultural issues
  • Excellent organizational skills, conducting multiple tasks and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership, facilitation and training skills
  • Good command of oral and written English and Nepali

Organization Summary

The Centre for Agro-Ecology and Development (CAED) is a non-profit, non-religious, non-partisan and non-governmental human rights-based organization founded in 1992 by a group of Nepali and foreign development professionals who joined hands to initiate community development work in the Chepang area of Chitwan district. The intent was to respond to the growing agricultural and ecological crisis and ameliorate its impact on these underserved people. Through the course of time the local communities with whom CAED worked, shaped its development.
