Job Title: Sub Editor Features (2)
Job Description:
- Edit and check the copy for spelling and grammatical mistakes and execute story ideas - Oversee the layout, appearance and content of feature articles
- Check facts in stories to ensure accuracy
- Write headlines that capture the essence of the story
- Provide necessary support and assistance to subordinates in news editing
- Liaison with reporters or journalists to clarify facts and details about the stories and articles
Qualification:
- Graduate degree in English or Mass Communication - Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience
Requirement/Skills:
- Should have excellent command over English
- Able to spot and correct grammatical and other mistakes
- Must establish priorities and balance a desire for perfection with the necessity to follow deadline - Ability to cope with the work pressure
