Job Description

1. Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
2. Keeping records of  employee performance.
3. Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins.
4. Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
5. Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
6. Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.
7. Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.
8. Motivating employees to achieve targets.
9. Training new staff members and scheduling shifts.

Job Specification

1. A bachelor's degree in business administration, financial management, or equivalent qualification preferred.
2. Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.
3. In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.
4. Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
5. Competency in retail management standard operating procedure
6. Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software would be an added advantage.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Knowledge of digital marketing and go through communication will be an added advantage.
