Job Specification

We are hoping that by giving our younger members of staff all the correct qualifications and building up their experience we can improve the quality of staff in the white water industry in Nepal. Whilst the trainee guides are with us we cover the following topics and training

Equipment and gears

River Theory

Raft Guide Training

Kayak Training

Cannoning Training

English Lessons

Office Skills

Trip Logistics

Campsite Organization

Cooking and food hygiene

Training the guides is very costly as we have to pay for their training courses, certificates, food, accommodation, equipments, etc. However we believe it is very worthwhile for the future of the white water industry in Nepal. We train our guides in ALL aspects, not just one. All our guides can  kayak, raft and canyon as well as work in the boat house on repairs, set up camp and cook for up to 100 people!
