2015 Internship Job Description
Clean Ways Initiative is a growing start-up not-for-profit organization and we work for better living environment and sustainable future through various environmental programs and projects such as water and sanitation, pollution control, health and hygiene and overall for the sustainable environment.
We believe that local people, armed with the right tools, are the world’s best hope for the environment and this leads to strengthening communities. We believe in working for the community by working with the community. We are an active group of professionals who are dedicated to work also have fun at the same time. We are one family and always encourage each other for ideas and productivity. We are at present looking to add 5 new members to this team.
Title: Project Assistant Intern
Required number: 5
Time: up to 30 hours/week
Duration: July 2015- December 2015 (with possibility of extension)
ï‚· Research and analysis on environmental issues, policy and law;
ï‚· File documentation and reporting.
ï‚· Outreach to earthquake affected and other needy communities for site assessment, filter distribution,
project implementation, training and follow-ups;
ï‚· Planning and logistics for workshops, field visits and meetings
ï‚· Writing opinion editorials, website content, managing social media etc.
ï‚· Assist senior manager in daily work activities and on works assigned.
ï‚· Second and Third year Bachelor’s degree student OR a master’s degree student
ï‚· Actively engaged in leadership in a variety of academic, extracurricular and/or community service
ï‚· Efficient and effective written and oral communication skills.
ï‚· Willing to travel within various project sites
ï‚· Coordinate with various vendors, suppliers and stakeholders for project
ï‚· Technically knowledgeable of email, excel & google drive
ï‚· Energetic, organized, self-motivated, and can manage multiple small-scale initiatives
ï‚· Possess good work ethic, creative thinking, solve problems as they arise, work collaboratively, take
initiative, attend to details, and take responsibility for task completion.
ï‚· Resume/CV building opportunity
