Following qualifications and experience are required for this position:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field with three years’ relevant experience or Master’s Degree in related field with two years’ relevant experience.
Experience in result measurement and use of statistical tools
Interested in action research and data management skill
Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Willingness to travel on short notice
Job Specification
Develop dissemination materials (reports, PowerPoints, etc.) as required, by conducting thorough research and analysis for effective program implementation.
Assume primary responsibility for daily management of relevant parts of the Programme – primarily technical matters in close collaboration with the Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader and the Programme Support Manager.
Work with the Research and M&E Director in Monitoring and Evaluation and report to the director on M&E activities.
Work with M&E director to maintain the database of the project data including stakeholders and beneficiaries as well as all project related information including managing back-ups.
Work for result measurement, analyze programme data to generate information for management and report
Manage Sakchyam programme data base and follow up and facilitate partners for quarterly progress report (i.e. data validity, consistency and integrity).
Carry out action research related to project intervention and prepare draft report
Call weekly staff meetings, note agenda and track deliverables of all outputs and component leads.
Work with the Programme Support Manager to make sure that the deliverables are tracked
Provide inputs to the Programme Support Manager to prepare the monthly reports and lead on compiling quarterly and annual reports.
Work on programme related deliverables as specified by the Programme Support Manager.
Draft minutes of Steering Committee Meeting and other meetings.
Coordinate the planning and organization of workshops and meetings, field visits, research studies or other activities related to the implementation of the Programme.
Perform any other duties, relevant to the project, as required for the smooth and effective operation of the Programme.
Undertake periodic project monitoring field visits, prepare report.

Organization Summary
The Sakchyam Access to Finance for the Poor Programme (Sakchyam) is an initiative funded by UKaid as part of an
agreement between the Governments of Nepal and the UK. It is implemented by Louis Berger for the Department for
International Development (DFID Nepal) in partnership with local and international institutions.
The 5-year programme, valued at £18.5 million ($29.6 million), is working with the public and private sectors to leverage
access and facilitate financial sector development in Nepal for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and for poor people with a focus on the Mid- and Far-Western Regions (MWDR and FWDR), and beyond.
