HCI is setting up 'Social Innovation and Business Incubation (SIBI) Hub' in Nepalgunj with the objective of: a) promoting Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship among youth and marginalized ethnic groups in Banke, Bardiya, Pyuthan, Surkhet, Kailali, Pang, b) designing, incubating, supporting and sustaining responsible business models to economically and socially empower these groups. MCI is looking for dedicated team members for the following positions based in Nepalgunj:

Programe  Head- SIBI Hub - Nepalgunj

Qualification Required:

• Masters degree in a business-related field, such as finance, marketing and management or a social science. At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role in issues related to entrepreneurship and/or youth
• Passionate about providing opportunities to youth and promoting entrepreneurship; possesses good managerial skills and ability to take decisions and act independently; Good written and verbal communication skills in Nepali and English

Job Description:

• Supervise and oversee overall activities and operations carded out at the Hub, including overall financial management, to establish and maintain a vibrant, youthful culture
• Identify promising responsible business ideas by visiting different communities; provide mentorship to the aspiring entrepreneurs to develop, incubate and sustain those ideas
• Supervise trainings on Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Development and carry out Youthful Sustainability Campaigns
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships, act as a liaison between the 51St Hub-Nepalgunj and HCI-Kathmandu; prepare progress reports on a timely basis
