Job Description

1. Preparation of Purchase Requisitions and Orders.
2. Rate analysis of materials.
3. Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of ordered materials.
4. Verification of rate, bills and forwarding for payment.
5. Coordination with Accounts for timely payment of suppliers.
6. Local purchasing of materials.
7. Local vendor development.
8. Maintaining database of purchase and vendors.
9. Conducting Vendor Audit as per the requirement.
10. Quality Inspection of materials.
11. Negotiating price with local vendors and suppliers.
12. Ensuring timely issue of Purchase Orders to Suppliers and Vendors.
13. Undertaking other duties as assigned by the Manager.

 

Job Specification

1. BBS/BBA from the reputed university.
2. 2 - 5 years of working experience in Purchase Dept of construction/housing companies.
3. Good knowledge of procurement procedures.
4. Flexible in working hours.
5. Good Negotiation skills.
6. Good Numerical skills.
7. Good Communication skills.
8. Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)
