Call for Application for Consultant and Researcher to Review National Gender Empowerment and Social Inclusion (GESI) Laws and Policies
International Institute for Human Rights, Environment and Development (INHURED International) is a non-profit human rights organization primarily advocating for the adherence of civil, political and economic, social and cultural rights.
For the implementation of a GESI project supported by TAF and USAID, we are conducting a comprehensive assessment focused on policies, its challenges and issues related to the implementation of the policies that relates to earthquake reconstruction.
Thus, we are seeking for,
1. Policy Review Expert - 1 (INHUREDNA/GES1/2017/007)
Key Responsibilities: To lead the assessment of Nepalese policies and mechanism relating with earthquake reconstruction.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: The applicant should have advanced law degree or other relevant field of social science, should have at least 7 years experience working in GESI mainstreaming issues in Nepal, have strong experience in review and analysis of GESI issues at policy level, and experience in conducting research to identify and analyze gaps between existing laws, policies and their implementation.
2. Assistant Researcher - 1 (INHUREDNA/GESI/2017/008)
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Policy Review Experts in assessments.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: The applicants should have minimum bachelor's degree in sociology, development studies, law or other relevant field of social science, and should have research experience.
