(Environment and Resource Management Consultant), an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company, established in 1986, is one of the leading consulting firms working in various Asian and African countries such as Nepal, Bhutan, Armenia and Uganda. We are specialized in water resources and irrigation, water supply and sanitation, urban development, transportation, hydropower and other infrastructure sector. We are seeking qualified and experienced candiate for the position of Officer-Project Development and International Relations. 

Job Description

• Identify National and International business opportunities for the organization.
• Identify best international and national partners (firms) for projects and tie-up with them.
• Coordinate with the partner firms for the preparation of EOIs and Proposals.
• Identify best international and national experts for projects and coordinate with them.
• Study project documents, conduct research and collect necessary information/documents for the preparation of EOIs and Proposals.
• Prepare technical and financial proposals in close coordination with in-house technical team, other departments, experts and partner firms.
• Work closely with the consultants and partner firms for successful implementation of the project.
• Assist the Project Director and Team Leader in managing and monitoring project progress.
• Coordinate with national and international clients regarding project related matters.
• Ensure proper financial management of project in coordination with the project director and finance/accounts department.
• Participate in contract negotiations with the client.
•  Work closely with consultants to ensure deliverables meet the targets and standards.
• Participate in meetings and seminars related to the project.
• Build good relationship with the clients, partners firms, experts and other stakeholders.
• Organizing meetings and presentations with representatives of clients, experts and international guests.
• Other project development, monitoring and management support to company as per the instruction and recommendation made by company directors or authorized representatives.

Requirements

Bachelors in Civil Enginnering/Management or a related field (Masters Preferred) with at least one year of experience in business development and/or project management prefereably in a engineering consulting industry. He/She must possess expereince in project proposal preparation, co-ordination with client/experts and International partners/donors in Nepal and abroad and project management. He/She must be fluent in English.
