The role of Manager Communications & Fundraising is to develop and implement the Country Programme funding plan, mobilize and manage grant funds from diverse sources with a clear communication strategy. The person will gather and analyse strategic funding information; build effective liaison that will translate to funding of projects sourced from a diverse range of stakeholders such as foundations, private for profit and non-profit entities, and multilateral /bilateral funding institutions. The role will be accountable for ensuring that project implementation and reporting are in compliance with requirements of contracts.
This person is also responsible for communicating WaterAid's work and ethos to a wide range of stakeholders through its media, digital, multimedia and print-based channels. The role represents WaterAid's brand and plays an essential role in ensuring that WaterAid Nepal delivers high quality messaging across all our programmes. The post holder will be expected to build strong and effective collaborations with teams of WAN, South Asia, WAUK, WA member countries and key stakeholders to achieve success.
