Job Description

Sabal Nepal, a non-profitable social development organization of Nepal. For its Save the Children supported project titled ”SAMMUNATI PROGRAM” We invite applications  from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the following positions: Required positions is located for Saptari District.

Position: Logistics Officer – 1

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor Degree or equivalent (in Management) having 3 years experiences in related field, positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations of quality procurement & management along with advance computer skills and fluent in speaking & report writing in English, Nepali and local languages. Ability to deal with vendors, stakeholders, suppliers and customers in a positive and constructive way. Self motivated to achieve target of periodic procurement. Ability and honesty to work under zero monitoring and under pressure.

Assignment: 60% Office based work including coordination, documentation & reporting and 40% Field work including field supervision and backstopping at sites (may modify as upon program requirement).

Organization Summary

Sabal-Nepal is a non-profit national NGO working in the field of development and disaster with special focus on water, sanitation and hygiene promotion and community development and peace building through awareness raising, working with school, alliance building and service delivery with right based approach to the community people as well as policy makers, development workers and civil society. The main objective of our effort is to aware and make responsible to all level of people by informing, involving and empowering in regards of environment conservation through sustainable development . Our ultimate goal in this effort is to promote safety and security of people leading to poverty alleviation, especially vulnerable groups from any environmental consequences. It is one of the established NGO in Saptari. As such the NGO has registered only 6 years before however it has been serving the people since 15 years as a youth club. From the very beginning SABAL is working with UNICEF and local and national stakeholders such as: Oxfam GB,SEAM N Nepal , District Development, Municipality, Water, Sanitation and Sewerage Division Office e.t.c
