Vacancy Announcement Head - Brewing & Processing
Gorkha Brewery Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a dynamic professional for the role of Head Brewing & Processing, a senior leadership position focused on people. process and performance to drive our mission of brewing for a better today and tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
People Management:
- Lead by example in coaching, Lean TPM, safety, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with KSE, food safety, hygiene, and legal norms.
- Monitor adherence to HR policies and union agreements. Drive people development aligned with business needs.
- Plan workforce based on demand and seasonality. Execute performance management and timely appraisals.
Process Management:
- Follow PMS, meeting routines, and reporting systems..
- Develop and enforce Brewing & Processing standards..
- Use Lean TPM to solve performance issues. Contribute to site strategy with senior management.
- Support the site's Long-Term Development Plan.
Performance Management:
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Set and monitor departmental KPIs.
- Promote Carisberg Excellence and share best practices.
Functional Management:
- Track key KPIs RFT, Loss, Utilities, Toste Score, etc.
- Ensure compliance with COM B&P standards.
- Support VIPEX, NPD, and copital projects.
- Lead Autonomous Maintenance improvements
- Approve Brewing, Filtration, and Maintenance plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Food Engineering.
- Certified Brewmaster (55B, VLB, or equivalent)
- 5 + years in B&P, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability in budgeting, people and plant development
- Solid knowledge of Leon TPM and process tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Language Skills:
- Fluent in local language (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in English preferred
