Position: Admin & Finance Manager
Location: Head Office, Kathmandu-32, Shri Shanta Marga
Number of positions: 1
Employment Type: Full time (One year with the possibility of extension)

The Admin & Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and successful implementation of administrative and financial activities as assigned by NIMS.
As an Admin & Finance Manager, the major duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
Financial Management:
- Maintain filing system & day to day record keeping of income & expenditure of all project implemented by the organization.
- Developing, monitoring, and revising organizational and project budgets, and forecasting future financial needs.
- Preparing and submitting timely and accurate financial reports to relevant stakeholders, including donor agencies, government agencies and management.
- Managing financial transactions, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assisting external auditors during audits and following up on recommendations.
- Managing procurement processes, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and government policies.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including Budget vs Expenditure and Fund Received vs Expenditure;
- Prepare monthly tax work and complete tax filings.
Administrative Management:
- Overseeing general office administration, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Implementing and enforcing organizational policies and procedures related to administration and finance.
- Maintaining proper documentation of all financial and administrative activities.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and donor requirement
Job Specification
Qualification, Skills & Experience:
- Master Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- At least 5 years’ post qualification experience in finance/accounting roles (preferably in an I/NGO).
- Knowledge of any accounting software, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Email/internet.
- Should have sound knowledge of Nepalese Tax and Laws.
- Proper commanding with reporting requirements and capable of handling work pressure and meet the deadlines.
- Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills, including oral presentation skills, in Nepali and English.
