Job Description

Position : Account Associate (Nepalese Nationals Only) 

Reports to : Admin finance Team Leader (AFTL), CCS Italy 

Coordinates with : 

1. CCS Team 

2. Partner Organizations 

Organization Centro Cooperazione Sviluppo CCS Italy 

Duty Station CCS Italy Country Office, Kathmandu 

Duration of the Contract  : 1 st April 2017 – 31st December 2017 

Salary Depending on the candidate's experience in the framework of CCS Italy's salary grid

 

Summary of Key Functions

• Day-to-day journal voucher preparation and uploading in My Donor Accounting System.
• Review of Supporting Documents submitted by the Implementing Partners
• Management of Partners financial documents
• Daily transaction recording in Excel for manual reporting
• Software generated reports preparation for the Audit Purposes (Inter/national)

Requirements 

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Management or other relevant disciplines (essential)
• Appropriate knowledge and understanding of accounting system in Nepal
• Minimum two years of professional experience in the field of Administration and finance
• Added value for those who have experience in I/NGO sector
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• English speaking and writing skills
• Willingness to travel to the project districts, when/as needed
• Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines (essential)
• To logistics support work in coordination with the AFTL 
• To manage the office files and arrange them systematically 
• Good knowledge of Auditing system in Nepal 
• Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Programmers (essential)
