Job Description

Summary of Role and Responsibilities

The Finance & Administration Officer will be responsible for all financial and related administrative matters of V B Group Holdings, and will report to, and work closely with, the Head of Department. The Finance & Administration Officer shall at all times act in accordance with V B Group Holdings rules and current policies. 

The responsibilities of the Finance & Administration Officer will include: 

  • Overall responsibility for all aspects of financial management and control. 
  • Effective financial reporting for V B Group Holdings, in a timely, accurate, relevant and informative manner. 
  • General administration duties. 

Main Duties Includes;

  • Manage / monitor daily office operation
  • Manage/Monitor logistics and resources
  • Maintaining accounts general ledgers and administrative task
  • Processing monthly payroll (ROI & NI). 
  • Management of cash flow and preparation of monthly cash flow projections. 
  • Preparation of quarterly management accounts for the Board, to include P&L/Balance Sheet and analysis of variances 
  • Management of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable 
  • Liaising with banks for all finance matters. 
  • Administration of the organization’s insurance policy 
  • Revenue compliance. 
  • General office administration. 
  • Responsible for handling Telephone/E-mail and be responsible for all incoming calls/E-mail and communicating to relevant persons and department
  • Being flexible, adaptable and available to take on other tasks or duties as requested.

Job Specification

  • Be a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, preferable with MBA degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Have proven work experience as an Account/Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role
  • Be able to handle bank related transactions like LC, loan procedures etc
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Have high levels of professionalism, initiative, energy, creativity and flexibility. 
  • Have Proficient knowledge with email, MS Office applications especially MS Word and MS Excel. 
  • Have experience in accounting software - TALLY
