Job Description

Handicap International Federation, operating as Humanity & Inclusion (HI) Nepal is contributing in Nepal since 2000. HI works through a network of local partner organizations in the area of physical rehabilitation, inclusive education & livelihood, emergency response and human rights to improve the living conditions and involvement of vulnerable populations in Nepal. HI Nepal invites applications from qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Deputy Rehabilitation Program Manager, Physical Rehabilitation Activity (PRA) Project • 1 (Based in Kathmandu)

• Minimum Master's Degree in Health, Rehabilitation, Development Studies, Management or related field with 5 years' experience in project management position with at least 3 years in project funded by USAID
• Knowledge of compliance of USAID rules and regulations and knowledge of working with partners in the field of disability and/or rehabilitation and/or health.
• Overall sub-partners management. Supports sub-partners and contractual partners for planning and implementation of project activities;

2. Sustainability & Governance Manager, Physical Rehabilitation Activity (PRA)Project - 1 (Based in Kathmandu)

• Minimum Master's Degree in Management, Finance, Economy or related field with 5 years' experience in the field of local organization support, preferably organization related to health, rehabilitation, or disability sectors
• Strong knowledge on Business Plan development. Knowledge of network private rehabilitation service providers functioning. Knowledge on Nepal authority’s system for budget allocation to local organization
• Support Network of rehabilitation service providers to promote quality management and governance and help them implement effectively quality insurance mechanisms

3. Sustainability Officer, Physical Rehabilitation Activity (PRA) Project -1 (Based in Kathmandu)

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economy or related field with 3 years' experience in the field local organization support, preferably organization related to health, rehabilitation, or disability
• Knowledge of private rehabilitation service providers functioning
• Assist Sustainability Governance Manager to support Network of rehabilitation service providers, assist Physical Rehabilitation Centers (PRC) and organize leadership trainings to PRC managers

4. MEAL Officer, Physical Rehabilitation Activity (PRA) Project -1 (Based in Kathmandu)

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, management, health or related field with 3 years' experience in data management and M&E, preferably focused on Health or Rehabilitation
• Knowledge of MEAL practices/approaches, data management and analysis.
• Develop detail MEL plan, operational plan and detail implementation plan for the project

5. Senior Project Officer - 1 (Based in Kathmandu)

• Minimum Master's Degree in Education, Social Sciences or related field with 4-5 years of experience working in development sector in Education/Inclusive Education preferably with disability and inclusion exposure
• Lead the technical aspect of inclusive education program and support partners in planning the project activities and implementation of the activities as per the detail implementation plan

6. Itinerant Teacher / Mobile Teacher - 3 (Based in Sarlahi)

• Minimum Intermediate in Education with 4 years of experience or Bachelor in Education with minimum 2 years of experience in Inclusive Education, disability or related field
• Support children with disabilities in school and home for their learning
• Knowledge on sign language, braille is preferred
