Jagdamba Foods was founded in 2008 as a subsidiary of the with a singular vision: to upend and update the Nepali FMCG market. At the time, this massive sector of the Nepali market, dominated by sitting incumbents, was neglecting its customers and giving them very little value for their money. So we decided to enter the stagnant market and address the vacuum of quality products just as we have for so many other industries in the past. The company started with a single premium noodle offering, Miho, which, manufactured with industry standard setting ingredients and the very latest Japanese and Taiwanese technology, quickly became a beloved Nepali pastime snack. Our head offices are located in Kathmandu and our main manufacturing and distribution centers are strategically located in Bhairahawa, right next to the Indian border.
