- implement project activities in the the assigned Municpality at field level in accordance to approved work plan and budget
- conduct social mobilization in close co-ordination with NGO and Municipality office
- help User Committee's open their bank account
- collect disaggregated data from User's committee
- help Users Committee to conduct meetings, take attendance and get minutes prepared.
- help prepare contracts between the Users Committee and NGO
- help Users Committee to collect bills& required documents in connection to the schemes implemented and accomplished.
- help UNV, engineers and CILRP team members to collect any additional information of long list of activities (provided by the Municipality)
- get letter of approval from wards/ municipalities before start of schemes (infrastructure as well as livelihood)
- carry out social audit at the local level after the completion of schemes
- get letter of completion from wards/ municipalities after the completion of the schemes (infrastructure as well as livelihood)
- identify and implement livelihood activities in consultation with User Committees based on their demand in close co-ordination with agriculture unit of the municipality
- help Users Committee members to access any other services from other I/NGOs and GOs
- monitor the CI/ LI activities and report to PC and UNV periodically.
- any other tasks assigned by the CILRP team
Social Mobilizer is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting project activities (infrastructure and livelihood) in the assigned CILRP field sites the RM/ district. The SM is responsible for organizing periodic User Committee meetings of which schemes have been finalized (in close co-ordination with the,RM, CSN,UNDP/CILRP and other stakeholders) and closely monitoring the activities. The SM reports to the Program Coordinator and UNV of CILRP/ UNDP.
