Job Description

Civil Engineer:

·         undertaking technical and managerial tasks of  execution of building in site

·         Monitoring  and site supervision for quality construction work and  checking the measurements

·         using a range of computer packages for developing  reports minutes, scheduling , checking and detailed designs

·         undertaking complex and repetitive calculations

·         liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors

·         compiling job specs and supervising contract administration

·         resolving design and development problems

·         making sure the project complies with legal requirements

·         ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time

Job Specification

Site Engineer:

·         managing parts of construction projects

·         supervision as per standard specifications building work

·         checking site measurements and setting out  

·         supervising contracted staff

·         ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales

·         liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff

·         checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings

·         providing technical advice

·         problem solving

·         ensuring site safety
