Manage, monitor and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of research related activities related to Seminar Series and Thesis writing.
Prepares plans of research activities to be carried in a year by consulting with the Director of Planning and Development Division.
Continues publication of Journal of Business and Social Science, published by HSM on online and printed forms.
Explores research findings related to HSM programs and shares with faculty members.
Encourages faculty members for carrying out research activities and provides technical support.
Develops and submits proposals for research and consultancy and carries out accordingly.
Facilitates faculty and students for publications in suitable national and international journals.
Help students to plan their research ( Seminar Report and Thesis) and induct students into group
Maintain regular contact with their students through individual meetings, tutorials, group meetings or at the bench.
In the initial period, give appropriate guidance about the nature of research, the standard expected and how to plan the research to ensure that the normal expectation of submission of the research work.
Impress upon students the need to complete and submit work by agreed deadlines
Work with student(s) to develop their research and professional skills
Provide students with feedback on their written work and/or presentations
Job Specification
Candidate should have completed M.Phil. with at least 2 years of work experience in relevant field
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and an ability to learn new software as necessary
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with School of Business and University staff, students and faculty as well as external constituents
