REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
Rural Community Development Centre: is seeking Proposal for a consultancy assignment for:
Job Title: Business/Enterprise Development Mentoring & Coaching to Agro-enterprises started by Youth, Migrant returnees and Smallholder farmers of Lamjung district.
Rural Community Development Center – RCDC Lamjung is the non-profit organization established with the pure intention to improve the livelihoods of rural people by providing immediate support on Agriculture health, education and disaster management.
RCDC Lamjung is registered in DAO Lamjung in September 29, 2005 (Ashoj 13, 2062 BS) and the registered number is 462/062/063. Similarly, the organization is affiliated in Social Welfare Council (SWC) on October 31, 2005 (2062/07/14 BS). It is also registered in PAN no. 302844344 and in the Inland Revenue Office Pokhara.RCDC-Lamjung is implementing Youth in recovery and resilience through an agro-enterprise project which is funded by Kerk In Actie (KiA) and in coordination with CORDAID. This project is designed to support the youths, migrant returnees, and smallholder farmers on building agro-enterprises, post-harvest handling, processing and marketing of agricultural commodities/products.
We aim to enhance knowledge, skills and resources for youths and migrant returnees and their families for improved post-harvest processing and handlings. We work on establishing and improving relationships between producer and market actors/players and local stakeholders, facilitated by local youths for better access to local/national markets and. We also work on promoting financial literacy and leadership among youths in communities. From this project, 130 youth and migrant returnees and 150 smallholder farmers will be directly benefited. Proposal must be written in English language. Proposal received after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation. Proposal that does not meet the requirements will be rejected. Proposal that meets the requirements and offer the best value for money will be selected.
RCDC reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals, and to cancel the procurement process and reject all the proposals at any time prior to awarding the contract without obligation to inform the bidder(s).

The RFP reference number must be shown on the envelope/Email containing the proposal. The Offers must be received by latest 5:00 PM on 22 July 2022. Offers Proposals received after the deadline will be invalidated.
