PTE Instructor / Tutor

Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PTE tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent teaching skills, and expertise in test preparation for PTE (Pearson Test of English) and/or IELTS (International English Language Testing System). The tutor will work closely with students to improve their English proficiency and help them achieve their desired scores on the exams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students preparing for PTE/IELTS exams.
• Assess students' English language proficiency levels and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop customized study plans and lesson materials based on students' needs and learning objectives.
• Teach strategies and techniques for success in each section of the PTE/IELTS exams, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Provide constructive feedback on students' performance and progress, and track their improvement over time.
• Motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential and confidently take the exams.
• Keep up-to-date with changes to the PTE/IELTS exams, test formats, and scoring criteria.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents (if applicable), and colleagues to ensure a positive learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Must have given PTE test.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• Native or near-native proficiency in the English language.
• Previous experience as a PTE/IELTS tutor or English language teacher preferred.
• Familiarity with the PTE and/or IELTS exams, including test formats, scoring criteria, and common strategies for success.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate students' schedules.
