Job Description
General Qualification:
Specialized post-graduate training in Biobehavioral Medicine with proven experience and expertise in the psychiatric and psychosocial aspects of treatment in medically complex patients who suffer from a variety of ailments that affect the central nervous system including but not limited to auto-immune, inflammatory and chronic pain conditions.
Experience:
Over five years of practice in inpatient. emergency medical. and consult-liaison environments with the ability to manage a diverse group of medically-ill patients.
Over five years of outpatient experience with expertise in a broad variety of evidence-based modalities including CBT, OBI, IPT and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapy.
Ability to network and collaborate with other medical and paramedical professionals in the interest of the patient
At least one year of experience of working with or treating patients from ex-patriate community.
Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
