Job Description
Nepal Council of Arbitration (NEPCA) requires an Office Manager. Interested candidate with a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in business or commerce or IT or Technical field, fully conversant with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PP) and having a good command of English and Nepali language with typing.
The Office Manager should carry out the following job but not limited to:
- Carry out day to day activities including making correspondence with the parties (Employer/Contractor) and Courts whenever required
- Conduct internal meetings between DB Members and Arbitrators appointed by the Parties as directed by DM Members and Arbitrators
- Notify the Parties regarding appointment of DB Chairman/Presiding Arbitrator and date of Preliminary Meeting
- Carry out the other activities as directed by Chairperson/General Secretary
- Reporting to Chairperson/General Secretary on all important and urgent issues related to Adjudication/DB/Arbitration and Court Decisions
- Establish and maintain Electronic and hard copy filing and documentation on:
- NEPCA Member, Panelist Arbitrators
- Archive of Adjudication / DB /Arbitration Awards
- Rules of Adjudication/DB/Arbitration
- Websites and IT Related Activities
- Research on DB and Arbitration Awards on Works/Goods/Services
Conduct the followings as per the requirement:
- Trainings/Workshop/Seminars
- Adjudication/Dispute Boards/Arbitration Meetings and Hearings
- NEPCA Executive Meetings
- NEPCA Annual General Meetings
- Preparing Annotated Bibliography on Adjudication/DB and Arbitration Awards
- Preparing a Summary of Adjudication/DB Awards and Arbitral Awards
- Updating Websites
- Maintaining Public Relations
- Miscellaneous
