Job Description

Established in 1966, The British School Kathmandu provides for over 450 children aged 3 to 18 from approximately 35 countries. The school is oversubscribed and is extremely well regarded in the wider community. The school follows the English National Curriculum through EYFS to Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 leading to Cambridge IGCSE and A Levels at Key Stage 4 & 5. Primary classes follow the National
 

Curriculum for English and Maths alongside the International Primary Curriculum. The School is a member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and the Confederation of British International Schools (COBIS).
 

Human Resource Consultant
The British School (TBS) would like to invite tenders from experienced H.R. Consultants to provide the following services:

 

a) Review the Management Structure of TBS
b) Support preparation of Job Descriptions and Recruitment of key management personnel
c) Advise on embedding best practice in HR Policies, Regulation and Contract Provisions, for the range of hiring practices
d) Produce staff byelaws

 

Please submit a letter of interest and proposal along with a completed application form by Friday 19th February 2016 in a sealed envelope address to “The Principal, The British School, Kathmandu”. It is anticipated that the services will start at the end of February and be completed within approximately
three months.

- prior experience in HR roles
- knowledge of HR processes
- knowledge of the field of education and educational management
- suggested timescale
- cost effectiveness
