Job Description

Build and/or edit web templates (mostly Wordpress) that comply with the latest technologies, adhere to best practices, and meet usability and accessibility standards. Create visually engaging websites that purposefully support our clients’ needs. We are looking for new team members on long-term basis.

Major Tasks:

  • Convert Adobe Photoshop files (PSDs) into web templates using CSS3, HTML5, Javascript and the jQuery library
  • Creating cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
  • Coding media queries for responsive web design (RWD) or adaptive web design targeting standard Windows, iOS, and Android devices
  • Troubleshooting and fix front-end issues with minimal supervision
  • Ensuring compliance with Web standards and accessibility requirements
  • Customizing free and commercial web themes (mostly Wordpress)
  • Styling and providing animations to the web pages
  • Working with web designers to turn their static pages into working web pages
  • Working with back end developers to implement their code to develop interactive and dynamic web pages
  • Staying up-to-date with web developments trends

Job Specification

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and Bootstraping
  • Knowledge of Photoshop
  • CMS Wordpress
  • Cross browser testing and debugging
  • Good communication skills(English speaking/writing skills)
  • Service providing and client dedicated attitude
  • Eye for detail
  • Punctuality, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines is essential
  • Minimum 2 years of proven front-end web programming/developing experience
  • Online portfolio required or work samples
  • Work samples demonstrating front-end technical expertise required
  • Work examples demonstrating understanding of typography, layout, and use of color strongly preferred
