1 This job involves the general check-in/check-out duties, attending to the phone, answering guest queries, coordinating with the housekeeping department, general security of the, property and guests and to maintain a high level of customer service for all guests.
2 The applicant will be provided with formal training in the hotel in order to familiarize, with the hotel's operational standards and procedures.
3 The receptionist is to receive reservations for accommodation and ensure that these reservations have been updated in the computer.
4 Ensure a smooth and efficient check in/out process, finalize guests' bills and issue receipts upon payment
5 Perform cashier duties, perform opening and closing checks
6 Perform general secretarial duties, such as preparing correspondence and attending to a switchboard (telephone)
7 Ensure that the guests needs are attended to while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
8 The applicant would be required to relocate for a short duration to the franchise/partner hotel in order to train and provide assistance in setting up the new hotel franchise
9 The applicant will work closely in a team and will be assisted by an operation manager and the Brand's Chief Executive.
1 Excellent communication skills
2 Good telephonic manner
3 Must also possess basic computer skills
4 Any previous experience in team building and conducting training is a plus
