Job Title: Event Coordinator
Job Overview:
The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events and activities aimed at enhancing the educational experience and fostering a positive and engaging environment for children. This role involves collaborating with staff, parents, and external partners to create memorable and educational events that align with the objectives of the Young Learners program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Event Planning:**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive event plan that aligns with the Young Learners program goals and curriculum.
- Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to seamlessly integrate events into the educational program.
2. **Program Development:**
- Create engaging and age-appropriate event programs that enhance the children's learning experiences.
- Research and incorporate educational elements into events to support the learning objectives of the Young Learners program.
3. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to gather input, feedback, and support for events.
- Collaborate with external organizations, guest speakers, and performers to enhance the variety and quality of events.
4. **Logistics Management:**
- Handle all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, scheduling, equipment setup, and coordination of event staff.
- Ensure that all events comply with safety regulations and health guidelines.
5. **Communication:**
- Communicate event details, schedules, and expectations to all relevant stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and children.
- Create promotional materials to generate interest and participation in events.
6. **Budget Management:**
- Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Seek and secure sponsorships or partnerships to offset event costs.
7. **Evaluation and Feedback:**
- Collect and analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess the success of events.
- Use feedback to make improvements and adjustments for future events.
8. **Documentation:**
- Maintain detailed records of each event, including budgets, attendance, and evaluations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Previous experience in event planning, preferably in an educational or child-focused setting.
