i. Should have thorough knowledge of Captive Power Plant (CPP), Diesel Generator, Power systems.
ii. Has to be competent to bring about cost reduction changes in the system of steam, power generation, power distribution
iii. Able to plan and undertake preventive maintenance of CPP, Diesel Generators.
iv. candidate should have knowledge of industry norms of power generation per kg of rice husk and steam generation per kg of rice husk.
v. Able to manage quality of power and improve safety systems.
vi. What are the new technologies in the Central Engineering Operation.
vii. Should also have knowledge of SAP plant maintenance module.
viii. Solar power knowledge will be added advantage.
ix. Able to undertake energy audit.
x. The candidate should be able to lead the transformation of the central utility for efficiency, productivity, commercial knowledge like husk stock tracking and consumption, assess quality of work done by the external vendors on CPP like annual maintenance, preventive maintenance etc. Guide the team on maintenance activities.
xi. Train staffs
xii. Prepare monthly/ quarterly/ annual reports
xiii. Set KPI/ KRA.
