Job Purpose: To provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information (prudent and systematic financial management) to the board and management so as the financial objectives of the organisation are achieved within the agreed timelines.
Job Description:
- Any other responsibilities as assigned
- Assist in the Profitability Analysis of Projects undertaken
- Update and Monitor the Weekly and Monthly Cashflow Statements
- Assist the supervisor in the smooth running of accounting system as per the policy of the company. Such a policy will entail the following:
- Importing of bank transactions directly into the financial system
- Ensuring that transactions are coded to the correct account
- Weekly bank reconciliation
- Weekly GL Reconciliation to Sundry Debtors and Sundry Creditors
- Monthly / Quarterly / Six-Monthly / Yearly Financial Reports prepared within the agreed timeframe.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional Qualification in Accounting (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum of Three years’ work experience in preparing complete set of Annual Accounts, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
