Job Description: Account & Financial Controller

Head of Accounting department/ Accountable for whole account department, statutory compliance (Taxation) & risk management of the college, play an influencing role in the development and implementation of business strategy, development & implementation of operational plans. Accurate of periodic financial reporting to the principal & board, and ensuring compliance of all applicable laws.

Main responsibilities would include:

• Develop and implement strategic plan, annual operations plan, monthly plans, cash flows, benchmarking and matrices and monthly review and reporting of operations against operating plans, including cash flows, business achievements, profitability, cost-benefit analysis, etc.
• Formulating revenue and capital budgets for the college, conducting monthly appraisals: actual performance VS forecasts, analyzing variance and suggesting corrective actions in case of negative variances.
• Finalization of monthly, quarterly and yearly MIS & reporting statements to the stakeholders and instrumental in designing an integrated MIS for various entities. Periodic reporting to the top management, BOD with a 360 degree view of college performance combining agile budgeting and actionable profitability reporting. Interact with the BOD on business analysis and reporting.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate must be CA, CA (Inter) or a management graduate from any reputed university and must have at least 3-5 years of experience or a graduate from any other faculty having more than 5 years experience of officer level in related field.
