Siddhartha Capital Limited (SCL), a subsidiary of Siddhartha Bank Limited, is the country’s first company to get an operating license as a mutual fund manager on 9th September 2012 after the introduction of Mutual Fund Regulation 2010. Established on 28th September, 2012; SCL has been successful in establishing Mutual Fund Industry in the Country. It is currently managing two close-end mutual fund schemes namely Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme – I (SIGS-I) and Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS). After the successful operation of Mutual Funds, SCL has ventured into Merchant Banking businesses for which it has been awarded the license from Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on 11 June 2015. SCL has also gained the status of Depository Participant as per the CDS Regulation 2010 and is a market leader in providing the services.
