Makalu Media Pvt. Ltd. (Makalu Television) is the first ever regional channel in the eastern hub of Nepal which came into operation formally from 18th Kartik, 2068. The Television is promoted by a group of renowned industrialist, Cable Television entrepreneurs and media professionals. Makalu Television is licensed for transmission through Cable Television (CATV) medium by Ministry of Information and Communications, Government of Nepal.
