Gyanda Academy is a high quality school at Birgunj, Nepal that will open in June, 2014 and will seek affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It is the brainchild of a group of prominent local residents who are keen that the children of Birgunj have the opportunity to spend their school years in an outstanding school, both in terms of academics and infrastructure.
Gyanda is one of the names of the Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning. We have chosen this name because we hope that our school will eventually become, through the dedicated and sincere efforts of everyone associated with it, a temple of learning and a tribute to the Goddess.
