Community Development Society (CDS) is a non-profit making, non-governmental social development organization established in 2001 under the Society Registration Act 1977 of Nepal. CDS has been working with vision of establishing ‘Self-reliant, Healthy and Equitable society’. CDS has been working in the sector of livelihood, small-scale infrastructure development, disaster resilience, health and sanitation, education, women empowerment, child right, renewable energy, peace and good governance for the past 14 years.
CDS will implement a project supported by Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW). IRW is an independent humanitarian and development organization, serving humanity for 32 years. It has an active presence in over 40 countries across the globe. The project aims to strengthen community and institutional capacity on Disaster Risk Management hrough the implementation of inclusive and flexible CBDRM, improved coordination, information management and policy advocacy. CDS is seeking innovative, self-motivated and
