The company has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with an Indian Company, Shanta Cement Pvt. Ltd. To establish a 200 TPD pozzolana cement grinding unit in technical and financial collaboration with them.
Clinker (80%), Pozzolana materials (20%) and Gypsum (0.02%) are extracted from their individual stock piles by electromagnetic vibro-feeders. The cement mill considered here is a three compartment open circuit tube mill, where mixture of clinker, pozzolana and gypsum is ground to a fineness of specific surface area of 2800-3000 cm /gm.
The cement facility is located at Rupendahi, Bhairawa near Nepal-India border for easy availability of raw materials and other inputs.
