Tasks
In coordination with NepalMonitor.org project coordinator and COCAP Program Manager supervise and manage the day-to-day running of peace monitoring project including overseeing reporting from the districts, uploading of reports on the NepalMonitor database, financial and donor reporting, drafting trends reports and additional fund-raising.

Ensure timely donor reporting and maintain donor relations

Support project coordinator in further conceptual development of Peace Monitoring Project

Your profile

You have Masters’ degree and at least 5 years of work experience in the field of project management, peace-building, human rights, or journalism

You are interested in the fields of conflict analysis, violence monitoring, and human rights.

You have experience in managing projects

You are interested in the use of ICT-tools for Human Rights and Peace Building

You are detail-oriented

You are willing to work in a complex political and sociocultural environment.

You have strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative workstyle

You are citizen of Nepal
Duration
The contract is initially for 1 year with 3-month probation period, starting in February 2017

Remuneration will be 55,000 NRs per month with additional yearly increments and bonuses (if the position is extended).
