Job Description

Animal Health Training and Consultancy Service (AHTCS) is a service oriented, non-profit making NGO officiate in Pokhara. It aims to deliver quality animal health care and livestock management education to poor, marginalized and needy farmers all over the country. It has also initiated an equine welfare project since 2007, putting its pioneering step forward for the welfare of the working equine in this country. AHTCS invites applications from qualified Nepalese citizens for the position mentioned below;

Position: Information & Communication Officer/Assistant-1 for Working Equine Welfare Project (WEWP) (Pokhara based with regular travel to project sites)

Key qualifications and competences:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or equivalent.
  • Good deal of experience in Information and Communication field.
  • Collect latest information on various interesting activities from all operational area of AHTCS.
  • Prepare success stories, case studies in coordination with field team.
  • Collect documents and record keeping and assist in preparing and submission of reports in time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill both in Nepali and English language and computer skills.
