Emergency Recovery and Livelihoods Officers (2 positions based in Dhading and Gorkha)
Key responsibilities:
This position will lead to implement the cash for works, income generating activities, and green enterprises in the selected districts and support partners and field staffs to design, plan and implement the livelihood improvement activities through business plan and value chain analysis. S/he will support partners and staffs to develop their skills as well as systems for reporting, tracking activities, and informing management appropriately to facilitate timely decision making in livelihood improvement and cash for works. S/he will report to the Team Leader of Hariyo Ban Program and will closely work with emergency program of CARE and Livelihood Specialist, Thematic Specialists, Field Coordinator, Field Officers and other relevant team including partners in the field.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
BSc in Agriculture, BA or BS or above in international development, community development, or similar subject with at least 3 years’ experience in implementing humanitarian cash and food assistance programs, livelihood improvement, business plan development and value chain analysis.
