Build fast and efficient next-generation web applications
Developing UI components and implementing them with React.js workflows (Redux).
Help drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class user experience
Consistent implementation of new features and optimization of existing ones
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and other services
Produce timely and error-free deliverables in an efficient manner, managing multiple tasks and varying project scopes
Job Specification
Minimum 1+ year experience building web apps using React.js, JavaScript (ES6), CSS3, HTML5, NodeJS and Redux (MERN stack)
Must have a full-time degree (Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics preferred)
Practical working knowledge of frontend build tools like grunt, gulp and webpack
Javascript testing using mocha, chai, sinon or similar tools
Fluent in responsive design and development for web, mobile and tablet devices
Knowledge regarding frontend performance improvements in most common browsers, cross-browser compatibility issues
Ability to work with RESTful Web Services in JSON and XML formats, service workers and sockets.
Good to have Adobe Photoshop or Design knowledge, a plus but not required
Theoretical and practical knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases with hands-on experience in at least one database system
Team player who can take responsibility for anything from fixing the office internet to making a sales pitch to CEO of a company. We believe in the ideology that “Buck stops with me”.
Consistent track record of documenting, synthesizing, and communicating results.
Familiarity with Version Control tools such as Git
Agile principles and processes including (but not limited to) stand-up meetings, sprints and retrospectives
Must be self-motivated, flexible, collaborative, with an eagerness to learn
